The JET SET team recently ventured west for our annual retreat; a time to brainstorm, share recent travel experiences, and explore a new destination together. This year brought us to the vibrant, charming, and artistic town of Santa Fe in northern New Mexico. We packed in as much as we possibly could in our three nights and four days: tasted our way through delicious local cuisine, scoured various luxury properties throughout town, hiked local trails to swim in waterfalls, discovered the rich Pueblo Indian heritage, enjoyed poolside meetings, ensured the spa treatments at the Four Seasons Rancho Encantado Resort were up to par (they were!), and absorbed as much of the fantastic art in the city as possible.

The art in this small town is incredible; a full day is required just to walk the famous Canyon Road row of galleries and artist’s studios.  The art will draw me back to Santa Fe, as will the opportunity to experience the world famous Santa Fe Opera House. Running around five performances every summer, the open-air theatre with the Sangre de Cristo and Jamez Mountains in the background apparently make for a phenomenal and dramatic addition to the performance on stage.  Before the show, we kept hearing about the refined tailgating experience (as well as diverse attire from tuxedos to bolos and cowboy boots – anything goes!) Many top chefs in town offer multi–course, farm to table meals complete with wine pairings, and candelabras – in the parking lot!  Sign me up.
