Saint Tropez has long been epitomized as the heart of the French Rivera.  The first town to be liberated after World War II, it became a vacation hotspot for artists, actors and now both American and European jetsetters.

Summer in St. Tropez is abuzz with locals, vacationing couples, globetrotting families, and everything in between.  From the weekend market at Place des Lices, and high-end boutiques to the family-owned restaurants and vibrant nightlife, you will find yourself completely enthralled with the energy of this beautiful port city.

There are a variety of luxury accommodations to suit any travelers needs.   The historic landmark and ultimate romantic getaway Byblos Hotel is one of our favorites and is consistently pleasing our clients with their spacious rooms, variety of dining options and of course Spa Byblos, featuring a mood-changing steam shower.

For the more modern alternative, we recommend Hotel De Paris situated right in the center of the village and a short walk to the port.  Every room is decorated in it’s own colorful interpretation of the height of the cinematic glory days of St. Tropez.  It also features a suspended rooftop pool, which is visible from the beautiful lobby and offers unprecedented views of the village.

Club 55 is a must-see lunch spot in St. Tropez.  The open-air restaurant located on the beach offers a thoroughly French menu but can’t be visited without indulging in the crudités and some rosé.  For a quieter more authentic dinner experience, check out the family-owned Au Caprice des Deux.  Situated off the beaten path with tables on the cobblestone street, their atmosphere is as delectable as their food.

St. Tropez will leave you feeling immersed in culture and excitement, as well as plenty of great food and wines.  A short drive from either Nice or Marseille, it is the perfect compliment to your South of France summer vacation.  Contact Lindsey Woodcock at to start planning your French Riviera holiday today.
