South America

[ ready. set. EXPLORE. ]

Discerning travelers are captivated by its sophistication and sass. Sultry cities like Buenos Aires and Cartagena surprise and delight, while Patagonia lassoes bucket-list bragging rights.

Where to?….

[ know before you go ]

Essentials while traveling in South America:

* A Patagonia puffy jacket that can be stuffed into a pocket. Layers are key
as days can be warm, and evening sare chilly and windy at higher elevations.

* A swim suit. Even if not planning on a beach, the hot springs in Chile
and rooftop pools in Buenos Aires are a must.

* If you are wine collector or enthusiast, research your favorite vineyards before traveling.
Wine can be easily shipped home directly from the source.

* Brazil is the only country in South America that requires a Visa for American tourists,
and they’ve recently created an on-line application platform.

He’s sponsored major inventories of flora and fauna in the Amazon basin, and is responsible for the creation of the world’s largest collection of native species of orchids (372) in their natural habitat at Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel. Additionally, he’s chaired numerous tourism and conservation boards, including Chairman of the Sociedad Hoteles del Perú, and E-Meritus Board Member of Conservation International (Washington D.C.), adding huge value to their respective sectors in Peru.

[ TRIED AND TRUE ]

My wife and I have been lucky enough to work with Jetset on a few different trip plans, including our honeymoon. This team is absolutely excellent. The ideas, planning, expertise, network and support are phenomenal. Melissa Pugh in particular has been our go-to guide creating trips that cover all the things we hope for. I highly recommend this group of pros.
